Crash: National Air Cargo Boeing 747 at Bagram

A National Air Cargo Boeing 747 with reg. N949CA crashed at Bagram. It appears all crew members have been killed. Initials reports say that this tragedy was caused by a load shift that caused the aircraft to stall. This was confirmed also by a frequency listener. For more information visit here. RIP

Olympic Air A319/A320 's Leave Fleet


On the 31st of March 2013 the last Olympic Air A320 left the fleet. Now, Olympic Air is exclusively flying the Dash 8 Q400 and the Dash 8-100. We hope that one day this airline will return to its full glory.

Alitalia Announces Last B767 Flight

Alitalia says "Farewell" to the 767 fleet. Last flight, with number AZ845, will be performed tomorrow from Lagos-Rome Fiumicino. After 18 years of service these beasts will fly for Alitalia no more. Sad news after the retirement of the MD82, not long time ago. Continue to read the article here

Alitalia Announces Last MD82 Flight

Really sad new for Alitalia's MD82. Last flights are planned on 27th of October with route Rome – Catania – Milan Linate – Catania – Rome. Although it might still be hope for the "Maddog". For more information read here.

Crash: Azza AN12 near Khartoum
